There are two distinct versions of
the US model Mangustas. The 1969 models have four fixed
headlamps while the 1970 models have two pop up headlamps.
Additionally the radio, and switch positions are different
in the 70 models with the toggle switches moved left
to activate the circuit rather than up as in the 69's.
Most people prefer one year or the other but it’s
not unusual to meet someone who has one of each.
This
makes the seventh Mangusta that we’ve owned this
year and it may be the best. Showing just 23,000 miles
from new, it sports a high quality recent repaint and
is nicely detailed through out. It has been updated with
a modern rotary a/c system that actually cools the car
and modern tires.
