Lamborghini Islero S |
The
Islero (pronounced "eez-LEHR-oh) was the successor
to Lamborghini’s 400GT. It retained most of the
400’s underpinnings but featured an attractive
update of the 400GT body. Carrozzeria Marazzi built
the Islero as Touring, Lamborghini’s traditional
coachbuilder, had gone bankrupt during the 400’s
production. The car featured a larger interior and better
outward visibility than the 400. Power was provided
by a 325 hp, 4.0 liter version of the Lamborghini V12. |

125
Isleros were built before the model was updated with
an “S” version. The “S” featured
a 325 hp engine, better brakes, and improved suspension.
It also had slight fender flares, vents in the front
fenders, and several other updates.
Our
car is one of only 100 “S” model built.
The previous owner kept the car for 37 years in which
time he only accumulated 8,900 miles. It is gorgeous
with beautiful paint and an excellent interior. It has
the optional factory A/C and Muira wheels. It has been
recently serviced and ready for your enjoyment.
